Tanya Nelmina is a multidisciplinary artist and screenwriter born in Khorol-1, the USSR air base in Russia's Far East. For most of her life, she lived and worked in Vladivostok. In 2022 she moved to Thailand.

A character can be regarded as the artist’s primary method and language. Here it appears not only as a certain figure but as a whole genre with its unique features. It helps the author to succinctly and coherently express a complex set of contradictory feelings and thoughts on a particular topic, whether it be society, politics, new technologies, or the future of mankind.

Former creative in advertising, the artist uses her experience developing capacious mascots for brands to create "mascots" for ideas.

The technology of artwork creation becomes the secondary matter and includes a wide range of techniques from digital sculpting to puppet animation.
